About Rep. Bruce Vogel

Representative Bruce Vogel was elected in 2010 and currently serves in the House of Representatives in St. Paul , MN.  

I graduated from Tracy High School in 1977 and I attended Bethel College in St Paul with a desire to go into the youth ministry.  After my time at Bethel, I met and married my wife of 28 years, Jeanne.  Together we have four adult children – Stephanie, Annie, Bobby and Stephen and three granddaughters – Nyssa, Sophia and Madison.  As a young family we lived in several smaller communities and know well the struggles of out state Minnesota.

I worked construction for over 15 years in the area.  I started my own small business in 1996 and have been a businessman in Willmar for the past 10 years.  I have been a licensed real estate agent since 1995, and currently am part owner of the branch office of Lakes Area Realty in Willmar since 2004. 

I was president of the West Central Association of Realtors for 2009-2010 and was selected as Realtor of the Year for 2009-2010.
